Under Attack???
Are you like me…do you feel like you are under attack lately??? Coming on the heels of my last blog about praying I would really like to urge you to honestly take some time to PRAY right now. We are in the race to EASTER and here at Flamingo Road Church we are having 31 services (between our 6 campuses)…there is nothing more that would bring the enemy more joy than to derail the plans of the godly.
1 Peter 5:7-9 says, “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.”
Here’s what I know…I do everything I do, each and every day, only for God…if I seek Him in all my choices, all my thoughts, all my actions, then whatever happens I know that He will be with me. I do a “Words from the Rock” mini devo with my youngest son (he’s 11) every night and last night it said…”I give my peace to you. I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be troubled. And do not be afraid.” ~John 14:27.
So, here I am…not afraid, but at the same time, very well aware that I am under attack and so are some of the people in my circle of life. Would you please take a minute to pray for me, my family, the ministry, Flamingo Road Church, and for the dreams God has put in your heart.
