What Should You Major In…

Ok, I found this really cool quiz over at a cool blog called Just a Thought (thanks Ginger) and thought it would be fun to share with you what mine was, and to also challenge you to see what yours is…

Your Scholastic Strength Is Inspiring Others

You are great at developing a vision, and getting others to adopt your way of thinking.
You are talented at leading, balancing tasks, and helping people work together.

You should major in:

Counseling
Environmental studies
Law
Social work
Political science
Nursing

Counseling – Pretty funny…considering I am a Pastor, my in-laws own a counseling center, and as a Pastor/Pastor’s Wife I love to spend time ministering and caring for God’s flock.

Nurse – I spent a lot of time in the hospital (he was in the PICU for 51 days…praise God he is well now) with my son (as his “nurse”, not really, but mom, nurse…pretty close).

Social Work – again, goes hand in hand with Pastoring, shepherding, and I even volunteer on the board at the Children’s hospital (Joe DiMaggio Childrens Hospital) to help families while they are there…so, that might fit too.

Law – well…let’s just say I have a very strong sense of right and wrong and it just about kills me when someone is “unfair” to someone else…gimme a badge (or a gavel) and let me loose! Ha!

Political Science – politics…funny, I really can’t stand politics, especially church politics.

Environmental Studies – not sure on this one…I am certainly not a “nature” chick.

All in all, I would say this is pretty accurate…take the quiz and see if it’s right about you too! Let me know what you come up with!

  1. Hi Mel, glad you had some fun with this silly little quiz 🙂 It was great stopping by and meeting you via the blogger world. I’m sure I will be seeing you again.

  2. Melissa,

Don’t ever forget that Jesus will never give up on you! I’m very sorry that you & Matt had to leave FRC’s staff because both of you are loved!

Church politics is a sad thing & my prayers are raised up to a loving God who does not sleep or slumber.

  3. Ginger,

You are so sweet and exactly what I would have imagined. Thank you for your kind words…I can’t wait to “get to know you more”.

  4. I did the test and these are my answers:
    Statistics
    Speech (What!)
    Conflict Studies (What is that?)
    Communication (???)
    Fiance (Now we are talking)
    Medicine (????)
Now I am more confused than ever, but it was fun
    Thanks. Love Juliana

  5. Hey Mel,

I had the same results as you. (Not surprised) Nursing – not even close…law- well just ask Pastor Matt, I always love to win arguments (lol) Anyway I thought it was pretty accurate and at least a fun quiz to take.

Miss you all! I saw your handsome and most importantly polite son – Nick on Sunday. Tell Bailey the crazy woman with the megaphone said hi!

  6. Jules…dear friend…it doesn’t take a lot to confuse either one of us, now does it? Ha!

Wendy…I am completely NOT surprised at all by yours. Good for you! Thanks for the kind words about Nick…he’s a dear, sweet boy!
