Metamorphosis…

meta·mor·pho·sis
change of physical form, structure, or substance especially by supernatural means

Exodus 3:10-12
So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” But Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.”

A couple of days ago I posted about “Who Am I?” and I wanted to take afew minutes to back up to that and disect it a little more…humor me a bit, but I want to be able to walk through this…

Today I went to the beach with my husband (for Date Day with Dear Husband) and while I was there I jotted down these notes…

Why do we doubt who God called us to be?

Over the last 6 weeks I have been wrestling with and trying to figure out WHO I AM on the inside…It has been some of the hardest, most amazing, 6 weeks of my life, and I have learned a few things along the way…here’s one things I have learned…this journey is all about CHANGE!

Change is…
Hard
Scary
Frightening
Good
Stretching
Growth
Paralyzing
Positive

It can cause fear and doubt…when we are afraid we tend to listen to the world and the standards for living that they say are ok, instead of listening for God and living by His Standards.

Romans 12:2 says,
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Change is NOT a bad thing…change can push us out of our “comfort zone”…it can also be the catalyst to our next adventure, journey, or even God’s call in our lives. Sometimes change forces us to STOP!!!…and when we stop, rest, and reflect we can see God in every part of the change.

God wants to change your life…

What do you need to change right now?
What steps are you taking to make the change?

Friends…if it helps…I am changing too!

All my prayers,
