TAG!!! I’m It

Ivy over at Ivy’s Mind has tagged me
(atleast it wasn’t Red Rover…I was never very good at Red Rover!).

Question: To be “tagged” implies you were playing along in the beginning, correct?
Hmmm…. I guess Blogging breaks a lot of rules
This is wutcha do…
Link to the person that tagged you, that would be ME, and post the rules on your blog.
Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself.
Tag 7 random people at the end of your post, and include links to their blogs.
Let each person know that they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

I have just copied and pasted the above info from Ivy’s blog (which she copied from Tami’s blog at In Progress)

So here are my answers:

1. I live at Starbuck’s (not entirely weird, but totatally true!)
2. I have two sons (11 and 13) and both of them were a 19 hour labor/delivery! (yikes!)
3. My shoe size is actually getting bigger the older I get (I used to be an 8 1/2, now I am a 9 1/2, go figure!)
4. I can talk and think at a freakish fast pace (probably due to #1).
5. I do not like to be alone (never have…starting to appreciate it though as I get older…it’s almost like a discipline for me.)
6. My husband & I met in the parking lot at a college campus…and yes, ladies, I said something to him first…(I am not a wait around kind of girl)
7. I was born and raised in a very (very very) small town just south of Louisville, KY (moved to South Florida when I was 15)
Now…since I was tagged twice…(how does THAT happen???)
8. I am a DREAMER…I like to think BIG picture and grandiose plans (like I always say, Dream Big, God does!)
9. I might be considered a Book Freak (I have three, six shelf, bookcases in my office)
10. On the same thought…as a book freak, I do not read an entire book at a time, I read like ten or so at a time in 5-10 minutes intervals. (This is better for retention and to keep my focus)
11. Please don’t think I am a freak…I just love to learn… 😉 Ha!
12. My husband & I bought my in-love’s house when they moved back home to Alabama (so we are living in the same house dear husband lived in when we were dating…freaky!)
13. I call my little sister (well, she’s 33…that’s little to me) Pooh! HEY POOH!!!
14. I love to be around people, and lots of them…it totally makes my day!
Ok…now it is someone else’s turn…
I am tagging these cool bloggy chicks:
Tag! You’re It,

  1. Wow, this might be hard as most people already know everything about me if they’ve followed my blog. I will give it some thought and see what I can come up with. Does addicted blogger count as weird? Seems really normal to me :o)

  2. Oooh, I’ve put mine up. I so wish I had a personality like yours, I thrive on time alone, thinking and being peaceful – it must be so liberating and fun to adore being around lots of people.

  3. Hi Mel! Just checking back into your corner of the world!

I enjoyed getting to know you through your tag. My shoe size is getting bigger, too. I also LOVE to be around people. It doesn’t matter what has transpired before entering a crowd. I am invigorated by the presence of people! I talked to my hubby first as well. I am kind of outgoing to say the least.

    Happy Dreams!

Try this one. skc1085 at yahoo dot com.

  5. yeah YOU DID IT. I was wondering what was taking you SO LONG? Anyways, even though I think I know ALOT about you, there is always something new!

I totally do the book thing. I LOVE to read more than one book at a time. If you and I were to put both our foot together, what shoe size would that make?

  6. These lists are always so fun..:)

I noticed your blogroll of ministry wives. Did you build that your self or is it one somebody hosts? I was trying to accomplish that on mine and got behind…:)) I’ll be surfing yours though! 🙂

    Preacher’s Wife,
Hey Girl…no, I did not build that…it is through the “League of Pastor’s Wives” blogroll. I will put there link up or you can search them in the blogsphere to get added to their roll. I totally love your site, the design, and what you are doing! Good job girl!

    Melissa

  8. Great post!
