…And More from Marco Island

Here is the place that we stayed at
(CLUB REGENCY – Hilton Grand Vacations Club)
Check out this really cool picture of the birds and the sun as is gets ready to set
This is my little guy…he is making a video of the sunset to put on the tv in his room.
My oldest actually made this by grabbing sand and letting it drip into piles.

Here is the view from down the beach…isn’t it gorgeous!

We are so blessed. The vacation was just what we needed. My youngest got up early every morning and went for a walk along the beach with dad, my oldest let his guard down and was just a kid again for awhile, and we as a family were able to just enjoy hanging out with each other.

I have had a bunch of people ask me “Melissa, How do you guys get to take so many vacations?” and I even mentioned it a little at the end of the last post, but here’s the secret…

My husband & I started our own travel agency from our house. Our business is all online (which who isn’t online these days) and it is part time (so when I want to, how ever much I want to, and as often as I want to…gotta love that). As a business owner there are many associated perks. One of the biggest perks is that since it is a TRAVEL business all of our travel is tax deductible. We also have access to travel agent only pricing on certain trips and other perks that only travel agents get such as first class upgrades on air travel, room upgrades at hotels, etc.

Of course there is some cost associated with starting up a new business, but it is minimal compared to the potential of the business. One of the other cool things is that it only takes seconds to get your own travel site set up.

We’re home, unpacked, and ready to finally take down the Christmas tree (have to wait til New Years Day…family tradition).

Back Home,

  4. I remember when we lived in Miami and we drove over to Marco Island to watch the sunset. It was beautiful. The white, sandy beaches and the sunsetting over the ocean, just breathtaking.

    Blessings,
    Julie
