I Luv Lou-a-vulle

I know I know, it’s not called Lou-a-vulle, Kentucky, but for those of us who were born and raised there it is (promise!). Anyone who is not from the south will pronounce it “Louisville”, and yes, you are right…that is how it is supposed to be said, but HEY! us Kentucky people have a way of our own! (HA!)

We got in around 3pm or so and headed straight to my grandmother’s house. My mom is the baby (of the girls…grandma had 8 kids, who had 18 kids, who had 36+ kids, who are having kids…) so she was eager to get right over to her house. We hung out for a little while, and then went out to dinner with some of my aunts.

Here’s my mom and my grandma (aren’t they cute?) at Cracker Barrel (when you go back home you HAVE to eat good old fashioned comfort food…it’s a rule!)

Here are some of my aunts and their friends. They were kind enough to go to our business meeting and support us, as well as check it out for themselves. Gotta love family. It had been a tough couple days for the KY family as there were those bad storms (tornadoes and such) that blew through there just the day before we got there. (Pray for those families…there are so many people hurting right now).

Here’s my mom and I (I know it looks like I haven’t sleep in years…but it was a l-o-n-g day of traveling to get to this meeting, so be kind) with the founder (J. Lloyd Tomer “Coach”) of the company I am partnering with. If you want to check out more about my new great adventure you can click here.

I am bone tired, but excited about what God is doing in my life and those who are partnering with me. I can’t wait to see what God does with this next.

Now, I have to have my kids get used to my new (actually old) accent for a couple of days until it fades away again. YEEHAW!!!

It’s great to be home, and oh yeah, I LUV LOU-A-VULLE!
