Happy Birthday Bailey!

Happy Birthday Bailey!

Here are my two precious boys a VERY very long time ago (oh my gosh…I miss those little boys so much). They are sitting in Suess Landing (in Universal Studios, Orlando, FL) watching the HULK ride across the pond. They must have been like 3 and 5 in this picture…ah! (It stinks that they have to grow up, doesn’t it?)

Colossians 2:8 Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.

Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Romans 12:2 – Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

I am so blessed to have such a bright, handsome, God loving young man as a son. Happy 12th Birthday Bailey!

Proud Mom,

  1. Please tell Bailey “Happy Birthday” from John and me – we miss him!!

I can’t get over how much he looks like Nick now!!!

    Love you and miss you!!!

    Love,
    Heather 🙂

  2. Happy 12th Birthday to your dear young man! I have a Master 7, and seeing the transition begin from boy to bit older, it’s a funny feeling isn’t it?

  3. They grow up way to fast. I was just looking at some old pics myself and couldn’t believe how time had flown by. Then, I heard SCC’s song Cinderella for the first time and lost it in the car. People driving by must have thought for sure that I was an idiot or psychotic or something. Hope Bailey has a great birthday.

  4. Thanks for the comment, Mel! I’ve looked around your site and I have to say that I am very intrigued! I think I will be visiting your blog more often, especially since you’re a fellow Christian sister!

I didn’t see what part of Florida you live in (if you don’t want to tell that’s fine, not everyone wants their location splashed on the internet.) I lived in Naples, almost as far South as you can go. I really miss it there!

I am curious about one thing, though. You and another blogger friend of mine have really cool blog labels at the top of your page. How did you get them?

Anyways, thanks for stopping by and it was great to meet you!
