Need your prayers…

My kids are leaving out of town (and away from mom and dad) tomorrow for 11 days. They are flying and also driving in the car (for long distances) and at this moment we still haven’t packed, prepared my oldest son’s medical supplies (he is diabetic), or written that darn letter for emergency medical treatment.

Needless to say I am starting to panic, a little, ok…truth be told, a lot, and I know I am dragging my feet getting them ready to go, but I just don’t like to be away from them that long. So there, I said it…I am nervous, a tad worried, and just icky!

Would you please pray for them…they fly out in the morning and won’t be meeting up with my husband & I until June 24th. Pray for them to have no trouble with TSA (medical supplies for my oldest), smooth flights, easy lay overs, and just a great trip.

Would you do that for me please??? Thank you so much!!! I knew I could count on you guys! I know they will be ok, it’s just the preparation that makes me a little nuts sometimes. THANK YOU!

UPDATED 6/13/08 3pm (EST) – The kids landed safely and are tucked away at Grandma’s house. Thank you for your prayers while they were on the airplane. I sat and watched 3 hours of 7th Heaven as I waited to hear from them, I couldn’t concentrate, think, or anything. They will still be away, but I have more peace now…thank you so very much for all your prayers, love, and support!

I do, however, have SO much more peace today that last night…it was rough there for about 3 hours…just the fear and the anxiety.

I kneeled by my bed this morning and just laid it all at the foot of the Cross today though and what an amazing peace since then.

    Much Love,
    Melissa
