There will be a day…

A friend from Twitter sent this to me today and I just HAD to share it with you. It is not an accident that you are HERE, in Mel’s World, right now.

So…sit back and watch this short video from Jeremy Camp (he’s incredibly awesome!) and soak it up for a few minutes.

There Will Be A Day – Video Devotional

4He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
5He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
18I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. 20For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope

  1. Well, Melissa, I just woke up, sat down in front of my computer sipping my first cup of coffee and came to your blog. You’re right; it’s no accident that I came here. For the second time in two days, you helped me and I thank you. Thank you for noticing my absence on twitter and then taking action by sending me a message. Many people observe but don’t follow through. I do believe that was a God moment.

This video of Jeremy Camp was perfect for me right now. The words he spoke and then of course, his beautiful voice. I love that he used Scripture. How comforting that is …no matter what each one of us is going through.

May the Lord bless you today. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  2. This brings back memories of when my sons were very young (and so was I) and our nightly devotionals. I was a new Christian and we learned His Word together and we really enjoyed learning what we had to look forward too. Love this passage!

    Thanks for the happy memories!
    Maria
