Then Sings My Soul – Walk By Faith

I don’t know about you, but it has truly been a rough week for my family & I this week. It seems as if right when we start to get the walls re-built (metaphorically speaking) that the next day brings about some form of disaster.

Listen, I know…everyone is going through a storm right now. The economy, marriages, families, kids, jobs, lack of jobs, you name it…so this week I wanted to STOP thinking about all the storms in our life and START to remember that we should be WALKING BY FAITH.

My song (and prayer) this week is Jeremy Camp’s song “Walk By Faith”. I pray the words are soothing to your soul and give you what you need to re-focus your thoughts on Him!

For more Then Sings My Soul Saturday songs head on over to
Amy’s at Signs, Miracles, and Wonders. While you are there, do me a favor, say a little pray for Amy and her family, thanks!

Today, on my Twitter home page (if you don’t have Twitter, you should…it’s FREE, fun, and easy to do, even Jeremy Camp twitters), I put these two thoughts up…
Thought 4 Today ~> Adversity causes some men to break; others to break records. ~ William A. Ward
Verse 4 Today ~> Ecc.7:14 ESV ~ In the day of prosperity be joyful, & in the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other

If you are in the midst of your own storms right now, take hold of these thoughts, and grab some more verses as well, that help you to WALK BY FAITH each and everyday. I’ll be praying for you!

  1. I love that song. It was my anthem during a very difficult time in my life.

I like his music because I know he is being so authentic with what he sings because of his own life experience.

  2. Jeremy Camp is wonderful! His testimony is great too-my daughter’s and I were watching it the other day:) Nice blog! Saturday blessings! Amanda:)

  3. Wow – I haven’t seen him in a long time! He used to come to the youth camps I went to in high school!

I always did love this song! I have a much more upbeat version – have you heard the story behind this song? Of his first wife dieing of cancer?
