What an honor!

This lovely statute is called the “Arte y Pico” award which was created to be given to bloggers who inspire others with their creative energy and talents no matter whether it be in the form of writing, artwork, design, interesting material, or contributions to the blogger community.

You have no idea how much of an honor this award is and it is especially endearing to me because it was sent to me from my friend Kat at Just a Beach Kat whom I have grown to love, respect, and admire. Thank you so much Kat for the award, but more importantly for your friendship…you inspire me with your sense of family, fun, and friendship!

When a blogger receives this award it is considered a “special honor” and, once presented to you, it is to be passed on to at least 5 other bloggers who meet the criteria.


So, without waiting any longer, I would like to pass this award on to the following bloggy buddies:

Sue at Praise and Coffee – for her love of Christ, her amazing love for her family, and for a very special friendship that we have experienced.

Hope at Monkey Giggles – for her passion for all things creative, funny, and loving. She is a super lady and has a very special place in my heart for her kind words and friendship.

Melissa in The Inspired Room – this is one creative chick who has a heart for God and for helping others create Authentic Living spaces…she is wildly talented and uses her gift to glorify Him.

MamaGeek – this girl has a crazy gift for catching the most amazing pictures with her camera. She has a wicked great sense of humor and is not afraid to say it like she means it (in a good way, of course).

Amy at Signs, Miracles, and Wonders – this girl has some serious passion for what she does and it show in everything she posts. Her love for sharing her story, for helping others, and spreading the Word is so cool. She has also become a good friend and I can’t wait to get to see what God does with our friendship.

I could go on and on for days about the other women who inspire me, stretch me, challenge me, and teach me how I can be more like Him, really I could, but I am trying (really hard) to honor the keeping it to 5 peeps. It’s not easy, because I would love to write something about all the COOL CHICKS listed in the side bar, and in all reality, they all deserve it!
