I’m still here…
…no, I didn’t fall off the face of the earth, really, I didn’t! Ha!I am so sorry that I haven’t been around a whole lot these days. I have missed all of my bloggy buddies immensely and can’t wait to get caught back up with everyone. Summer is almost over and in between the excitement of the routine and schedule there is also a twinge of sadness because I have truly loved being home with my boys this summer.
As you may or may not know, about 3 1/2 weeks ago I started a new business. I know, I know…like I need one more thing to do, but I did it and I am SO GLAD that I did.

I was looking for something to make a little “extra” money to help out so that I could continue to stay home with my boys, and guess what…In only 28 days I have made over $4200…no, really, I am 100% serious! (Needless to say my husband is thrilled) My phone has been ringing off the hook, I am talking to people everywhere ALL the time (and no, not because I have to, but because this is just too stinkin’ awesome). I am behind in my emails, I am behind in my blogging, I am behind in so many things and just today I had a little “window of stillness” and wanted to jump on and tell you guys I am still here!
So…What’s coming up in Mel’s World you ask?
I have been asked to do some writing with my good friends over at Christian Women Take Root. They have asked me to write about working at home and I will also be fascilitating a group for Work at Home Moms (can you believe that?). When I figure out what I am doing (ha! ha!) I will link over here to let you know.
I am preparing to go to the CLASS services seminars at the end of September. My good friend Amy over at Signs, Miracles, and Wonders has agreed to be my “adventure buddy” while we train to become better Christian women’s speakers and writers. (I am as nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs for that!!!) Please pray for me!!
God has also laid it upon my heart to get started on some training to become a Life Purpose Coach and so I have made some great new friends (hey Diane) over the the Life Purpose Centers in California (Saddleback) to help me prepare for that adventure as well.
Oh, and if that isn’t enough, we have found a new church home and are waiting to see what the Good Lord will have us do while we attend and serve there. We love the Pastoral team and are so abundantly blessed by what God is doing there.
All of this on top of the rapid growth of my Shop to Earn business makes things in Mel’s World a little extra busy these days. Ha! I am SO not complaining though…I have walked through the wildnerness and it is so great to see what’s on this side of the journey.
I hope you are all doing well…I love and miss you dearly and am looking forward to sharing with you all the amazing things God is doing in my life!

I’ve enjoyed “catching up” with you tonight. My Mom and Aunt left this morning, so I’m working hard to visit all of my blogging friends. I know exactly how you feel.
