Wordless Wednesday – Thanksgiving
We drove 13 hours ONE way to get here (Alabama) but it was so worth it to have almost the ENTIRE family there to celebrate Thanksgiving AND Granny’s 86th Birthday!
The most amazing thing about this is that it is my husband’s side of the family (I love them to pieces), my side of the family there are over 130+ of us (we’re Kentucky people…ha!)
Hope you had a terrific Thanksgiving too!
For more Wordless Wednesday photos head on over to 5 Minutes for Mom!
What a great memory to have captured in a photo. Thanks for sharing!
Happy Birthday to Granny, and Happy Thanksgiving to you.
So fun!!! Gotta love big family…which I know nothing about but wish I did. Maybe the next generation 😉
Glad you had a good time.
What an amazing shot. You and I had the same idea this week for WW. 🙂
We did have every single family memeber with us on Thanksgiving, though not as many people as you have.
Happy WW
Happy Belated Birthday wishes to Granny.
Susan, it truly is…what a precious gift FAMILY is!
Just Mom, thanks! I think she was more than thrilled to have us all there.
Sue, with all your kids you will have a nice BIG family pic like this one day too! ;D
KC, it’s so nice to stop what you are doing and remember moments like that with a picture, don’t you think?
Rona, thanks! She had a great day!
WOW! That was quite an endeavor.
What a great opportunity to have everyone together for a picture.
Wow Mel what a big family you have. It is great you all could get together.
Mel if you have facebook you are welcome to add me [email protected]
Rhonda…it was a long drive, but oh so very worth it. It’s nice to get out of South Florida every now and then to get back to our roots!
I love this…what an amazing heritage. With the 4 adult kids in my family, we have 29 kids, and counting…I understand how the drive is so worth it.
Jen, I LOVE being from a BIG family, don’t you? It’s fun, it’s crazy, it’s loud, and they can make you nuts, but at the end of the day they ALL have your back! How cool is that?
How very special! I bet Granny was just in heaven having you all together.
Thanks for sharing this, it’s really great. It’s wonderful to read such encouraging words, especially in the lead up to Christmas. Karyn

I love a good Southern family get together. The food is ALWAYS good!
I even see a ‘Bama hat in there.
Wow that’s awesome. The whole gang. What a day that must of been.
I love it- my grandmother lives in Alabama and is 102. We had 86 family memebers together for her 100th birthday. Really special. Nice to meet you – popped over from “I Throw Like a Girl”.
