Wordless Wednesday – Mr. Peanut
This is what you do (as a mom) when your child wants “extra credit” points in Spanish III class…you make a pinata. It started out as a snowman, but the bottom balloon didn’t make it (and we made this thing THREE times) so we moved on to Mr. Peanut.
Here’s Mr. Peanut in all his glory. After a three day transformation it was nice to finally see him completed and shipped off to school!
I’m not sure who was more excited about finally finishing this project me, or my son! Ha!

Holy Cow! It looks perfect! You should do paper mache full time : )!
What a great pinanta! I hope he got lots of extra credit!
I really like that!!
Woww!!! That is really good!
Life with Kaishon ~ Seriously, you made me laugh SO hard just now…thanks!
MomOf3 ~ Me too! We worked hard on that thing, I’m just glad the teacher knew who it was.
RL ~ Thanks! ;D
Janel ~ Thanks, his granmother helped come up with the idea, she’s so crafty, love it!
He should get lots of points for this. It looks perfect!
I love Mr. Peanut and your son looks so pleased with his (y’alls) work!
btw, is is just me but i cannot see the word “comment” on your page??
Awesome! Such talent. I think it turned out great.
Great job! I’m sure he’ll get a terrific grade on his project.
Too cuteand funny!
Isn’t that funny? We did the same thing when DS 2 was in Spanish. Now, we didn’t make Mr. Peanut. Nope. We made Bob the Tomato from Veggie Tales.
I think your peanut is adorable!! And trust me, it’s more intricate than Bob ever was!
🙂 Susan
I love it! Anyone could have came up with a snowman but how many people would have came up with Mr. Peanut? That is awesome. You get mom of the year!
Smiles!
WOW, great job!
