Monday Monday
Is it just me or has this been a “strange” day?
Maybe it’s because the kids are out of school today?
Maybe it’s the rain,
then sun,
then rain again.
I don’t know, but there is a definite restlessness about this day.
So, instead of thinking about, worrying about, and stressing about the restlessness, I am heading straight to the giver of peace.
“Like a river glorious is God’s perfect peace.
Over all victorious in its bright increase;
Perfect, yet it floweth fuller every day,
Perfect, yet it groweth deeper all the way.
Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blest;
Finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest.”
~ Frances Ridley Havergal
If you are experiencing any restlessness today, like I am, then I pray you cling to these words…
“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give peace to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.” ~ John 14:27
Hi sweet friend! I was so happy to hear that your Mom is coming to the end of this part of her journey. Praise God! I pray she will return to full health and that breast cancer will only be a part of her past…not the future. (that’s my motto)
Hugs!
