Update on 4/7/10 Praise & Coffee Night
Ok, so most of you know that I have partnered up with Sue from Praise & Coffee to host Praise and Coffee Nights in South Florida. What most of you don’t know is just HOW MUCH FUN Praise & Coffee Nights really are.
I wanted to walk you through a peek into what the night looks like South Florida style…
Here are a group of ladies arriving…clearly already excited about what is in store for the night (or maybe it’s just the sheer joy of getting out for the night on their own…either way, they are happy!).
We have been having some beautiful weather these days in South Florida so we’ve been using the outdoor patio of the Coffee Scene to have our gatherings…which is perfect because it gives us the extra room we need.
Being outside also allows us to worship under the clear sky with a gentle breeze blowing through the palm trees…there is something simply spectacular about worshipping outside with your friends…as a matter of fact being outside has afforded us many opportunities to be a light to those who just “happen” to walk or drive by.
This month we talked about how to “BLOOM Where We Are Planted“…the tables had these really cute little plants on them and we passed out seed packets to help remind them the importance of BLOOM!
This is my friend Erica and I…this was her last outing in South Florida…Erica’s husband Russell is a Pastor and he just got a job in Washington D.C….so it was a way for us to celebrate the blessing of our sweet friendship.
This is my dear friend Anne…she moved away from South Florida two years ago and just moved back recently…this was her first outing since being back in South Florida…so it was bittersweet for me to say goodbye to my friend Erica while I celebrated my other friend Anne being back.
Connections happen at Praise & Coffee Nights! Women get a night to get out for a little bit to enjoy Coffee, Chocolate, Conversations, and in the midst of all of it celebrate their faith at the same time…yep, Praise & Coffee Nights totally rock!!!
The next Ft. Lauderdale Praise & Coffee Night is schedule for Wednesday June 2nd from 7-9pm, so if you have friends or family in the South Florida area make sure to tell them to join us…we’d love to see them (or you) there!
