Stay In Your Own Lane

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24 NIV
He prepared you for it by giving you the exact gifts and skills you needed to complete the race. Some how though, you became distracted by what He gave to someone else.

Their gifts look better than yours do.

Their skills make a bigger splash.

Their talents get more attention.

In looking at what they have, you took your eyes off what He gave you. Your gifts, talents, skills are laid out before you in your lane of the racetrack. What you do with them is up to you…when you take your eyes off the finish line and put them on someone else a fall is right around the corner.
