Manicures, Pedicures, and other girlie stuff

This past Sunday (9/10) one of my very best girl friends took me to get a manicure & pedicure at a great little salon in Weston. She actually bought it for my birthday (WAY SWEET!!!) and I asked if she would like to go with me when I go…PLUS…we have Beach Baptism coming up, and I want the toes to look good! (I know that it is SUCH a girl thing to say!)

We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the treat…I think we both thought we would do a ton of talking and catching up (can’t do that on Sunday mornings…too busy!), but when we sat there we both just sort of sat back and took it all in.

I think God works like that sometimes…we have all these great things we want to say, discuss, disect, and sometimes He just wants us to sit there.
