Thanksgiving Day Fun

Thanksgiving Day was full of fun, food, and backyard football. Every year my husband’s (Matt) family has a tradition of playing football in the yard until they drop. We go up to his grandmother’s house, hang out with a ton of family, build a great big fire in the pit, eat tons of food, and just have a great time. It never fails that we have a blast!!! The kids get to play with all their cousins and this year Granny got a brand new 10 week old yellow lab puppy. Needless to say the poor puppy (officially called BUDDY) will never get a chance to walk when all the great grandkids are around.

We had a great time, as always, and in the process took time to rest and reflect on what is really important: FAMILY!!! I pray you took some time this Thanksgiving to rest and reflect on the goodness and blessings that God has brought into your life.

Thanks to my team back in Cooper City for “holding down the fort” and giving me the opportunity to get away and know that things are more than taken care of. You guys ROCK!
