I changed the sheets…
Saturday I wrote about the all around yucky day I was having and my thoughts about that it might be linked to my “unmade bed” that day…well, Sunday came and I stripped the bed, put new sheets on, added linen spray, and put all the pillows out nice and pretty. (Just in case it had anything to do with the bed I wanted to make sure that part was covered…ha!)
Any who…I wanted to pop online real quick (yeah right) and tell you guys THANK YOU for all your prayers, comments, well wishes, and general TLC. You chicks are awesome and I appreciate each and every one of you who take the time pop over into Mel’s World for a little bit.
My friend Shannon was released from the hospital tonight with an all clear and she is thrilled to be able to go home with some peace of mind. Thank you to each and every one of you who took the time to pray for her…I KNOW that made the difference and that is why she is at home tonight sleeping in her own bed.
I hope you are all well and are soaking up the Christmas spirit in the midst of the everyday stuff…
Glad to hear you changed your sheets! I know that will make you feel better!
Seriously, I am really happy to hear about Shannon – that’s a great answer to prayer!
Praise the Lord for your friend.
Hey,
I just read the unmade bed post and this one. I’m so glad your friend is ok, that had to be very scary.
Your bed looks so nice, I think I will have to do mine tomorrow!
It was great talking with you again the other day, you’re such a doll- wish you lived within coffee distance!!
Love ya,
Sue
um, is that your bedroom? If so, then wow! so lovely… and is that a tub?
🙂
yeah for your friend!
Ok … I just have to say that I have never seen a bath tub beside a bed but I think it is the COOLEST thing !! I am a bath girl through and through. I have LOTS of baths ! I can think of few things better than having a bath, drying off and crawling straight into bed !!!
I am glad to hear about your friend! I love that pic, how fabulous having the bath near to the bed – could imagine a relaxing bath and chatting to hubby whilst he rested on the bed – what a great idea.
Mari,
Thank you SO much for your prayers, I KNOW they made a difference!
Monkey,
Amen Sister, it is an answered prayer!
Sue,
You have NO idea how bad I wished we lived closer. We have to do some long distance coffee chats more frequently.
Joylene,
Nope, not my bed, but it was too beautiful so I had to put it up. (It would be really nice though, wouldn’t it?)
