More From Marco Island

WOW…it has been an amazing trip, even though it got off to such a rocky start! We are routine people…we like to do things in a certain order to feel “normal” (wow, that is such a relative term, isn’t it?).

Any who, we start our day with breakfast, hanging out, having our quiet time on the patio, playing the Wii with the kids, and then go grab some lunch…after ALL that we head down to the beach and stay for just about the ENTIRE day!

We, the old people, like to read and listen to some praise/worship while the kids take their little boat out, make sand castles, boogie board, and play frisbee. We have quite a system (rethinking that whole “normal” statement earlier now, aren’t you!) when we get to the beach and it takes us a few minutes to get it all set up just right, but the great part is…when you get it set up it generally works for 4-5 hours.

This is the sunet we saw tonight…absolutely fab-u-lous!

Here are the boys HAMMING it up for the camera at the sunset (the little guy on the left is JUST like me…poor thing!)

We pack up tomorrow morning and head out to the OUTLET mall (anyone who knows my family knows that we can NOT pass an outlet mall without stopping) for some lunch, some Starbuck’s and lots of shopping!!! (I know, I know…we just had Christmas…but technically this was a business trip).

Can’t wait to tell y’all how we get to take so many amazing vacations and get to travel cheaper, smarter, and more often than others.

Still packing (even though I really do not like to pack!!!),
