…And More from Marco Island

Here is the place that we stayed at
(CLUB REGENCY – Hilton Grand Vacations Club)
Check out this really cool picture of the birds and the sun as is gets ready to set
This is my little guy…he is making a video of the sunset to put on the tv in his room.
My oldest actually made this by grabbing sand and letting it drip into piles.

Here is the view from down the beach…isn’t it gorgeous!

We are so blessed. The vacation was just what we needed. My youngest got up early every morning and went for a walk along the beach with dad, my oldest let his guard down and was just a kid again for awhile, and we as a family were able to just enjoy hanging out with each other.

I have had a bunch of people ask me “Melissa, How do you guys get to take so many vacations?” and I even mentioned it a little at the end of the last post, but here’s the secret…

My husband & I started our own travel agency from our house. Our business is all online (which who isn’t online these days) and it is part time (so when I want to, how ever much I want to, and as often as I want to…gotta love that). As a business owner there are many associated perks. One of the biggest perks is that since it is a TRAVEL business all of our travel is tax deductible. We also have access to travel agent only pricing on certain trips and other perks that only travel agents get such as first class upgrades on air travel, room upgrades at hotels, etc.

Of course there is some cost associated with starting up a new business, but it is minimal compared to the potential of the business. One of the other cool things is that it only takes seconds to get your own travel site set up.

Travel business click here and check it out.
If you are going to be traveling and taking any trips in the near future click HERE and give us a chance to help you with your travel.

We’re home, unpacked, and ready to finally take down the Christmas tree (have to wait til New Years Day…family tradition).

Back Home,

  1. Can I be jealous, but not sin??

Just teasing- I am actually thrilled for YOU! I pray you had a wonderful relaxing and refreshing time together as a family and gear up for the busyness of what this next year holds for you!

    Love ya,

  2. I love Marco Island! I came over here from Free to Fly and am so glad that I did! It’s so nice to meet other Florida bloggers–and Christian sister!

I hope you have a fabulous New Year. I hope to come back by and visit again sometime.

    ๐Ÿ™‚ Susan

  3. Sue,

Thanks my friend! You are a constant source of encouragement and a great friend!

I can’t wait to get to know you…I am sure there are many many things we have in common!

    Happy New Year!

  4. I remember when we lived in Miami and we drove over to Marco Island to watch the sunset. It was beautiful. The white, sandy beaches and the sunsetting over the ocean, just breathtaking.
