Book Me-Me

Maria over at Free to Fly was so kind as to tag me for a Me-Me that I have never seen before! I totally and completely LOVE books, so when this one came to me, I was like, yep…I am SO doing this meme!

It’s called the Book Me-Me

Here are the rules:
1. Pick up the nearest book of at least 123 pages.

2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the 5th sentence.
4. Post the next 3 sentences.
5. Tag 5 people

As some of you may or may not know part of my morning reading is:
Coaching Your Kids to Be Leaders“,
by Pat Williams
If you want a copy you can go to Amazon and pick it up here

Third, people skills.
There are many ways to lead.
Not everyone should feel the need to be the team captain. Successful leaders can also be found using such leadership abilities as public speaking or administration skills or interpersonal skills (people skills).
In fact, mastering people skills is one of the most challenging leadership tasks of all.

That’s all you get!

Please, run do not walk, to get this book if you have a child that has leadership skills or that you would like to develop leadership skills in. I just read today on page 250 of this same book…”you have three choices in life; lead, follow, or get out of the way.” Which one will your child choose?

I am tagging anyone and everyone that would like to do this meme. If any of you have too much on your plate, No Pressure! Save it for when you are in a “dry spot” or want to talk about a particular book! Blogging is for fun, not for stress!

Enjoy your reading,

  1. Mel, this is an interesting book. Can you tell me, does it address the aspect of servanthood? Is there a section on that?

  2. Blogging for fun, not stress!! I totally needed that today!! While I have all kinds of thoughts in my mind to write at the moment I felt ‘pressure’ and very stressed about the face that I was so far behind on my reading. Over 100 post to catch up on in Google reader to be exact!! Half way through! I don’t think I’ll let it go that long again…if I can help it! 🙂
