Universal Studios Florida
On Friday we were able to spend the day at one of my ALL TIME favorite parks, Universal Studios Florida!!! Although we are now home and officially out of “vacation” mode, I wanted to share with you a few more pics of our adventure! Enjoy!
Here are the boys in front of the entrance to Universal Studios Florida.
They are getting ready to open in Spring 2008 a new section in the park called KRUSTYLAND (based off the Simpsons). This ride was previously the Back to the Future ride. Looks like it is going to be tons of fun.
Here’s Nick getting a “Smooch” from Marge Simpson’s sister! How cute?!?!
Here’s my drink (Venti Iced Caramel Macchiato Non-Fat Half Caff, I have mentioned that I am “complicated” right?) and my spot…they actually had a STARBUCK’S inside the theme park, which served as a great place for me to relax while the Mashburn Men rode The MUMMY! (too scary and too dark for me!)
We also rode Men in Black and Shrek 4-D as a family…which was a nice way to wrap up a great day at the parks!!!
You know what I totally love about going to the theme parks with my new travel business?
It’s that they offer special deals and incentives to you and your family so you can come to the park at discounted rates! (Yep, I am totally serious…Disney, Universal, Sea World…)
If you want to find out how you and your family can take advantage of the specials and deals that are available to travel professionals then you should take a look at what this business can do for you!
If you want to find out “Why This Business” is so amazing go over to my travel blog, Mel’s World Travel Biz, and find out how we are able to take a 9-day vacation at a fraction of the retail cost, enjoy traveling as an insider, and also write off 60% of it on our taxes (because we have our kids with us, otherwise it would be a total write off).

Glad you all had a good time.

You and I are SO going to have an in-depth email conversation one of these days!!!! I’ve missed visiting here. Sounds like you had a great vacation!
Hey Mel, we went to those same rides in December. I do not remember the ball that has universal on it. Also, did you see any of Ellen’s shows? Just curious. Looks like you had a blast there.
Wow! It looks like you guys had a great time! We went to Seaworld while I was 7 months pregnant. We would have gone to US or Disney, but obviously we wouldn’t have been able to ride anything! I can’t wait until we get to go back! I’d like to do a picture like you have of your children, in the same spot years later. I love to see the progression!
One day we want to move back to Florida…sometimes I feel like that day can’t come soon enough!!
I hope you’re all settled in at home and not feeling those “I’m not on vacation anymore!” blues 🙂
So glad you had fun!
I want to see YOU drinking it!
Love,
Sue
