Yep, I’m still here, or is it there…

Happy Sunday Everyone! I just wanted to pop online for a minute to let you know that I am still around. I hate not being able to slow down to catch everyone up on what’s been going on in MEL’S WORLD, but let’s just say it’s been a little nuts!

Oh well, that’s why it’s my world…ha! Any who, I miss you all terribly and miss being able to spend some time visiting your blogs, reading about your lives, your families, and whatcha are up to.

My life, or my world, has been topsy turvy since March and I sometimes feel like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz when the big tornado comes and takes her far, far away. Things have been upside down, inside out, and all around wally gunk (that’s just a word I like to say) these days and well…I’m ready for it to settle in a bit.

Ministry is good, kids are great (winding down their school year), hubby is great (he loves Pastoring and ministry at our new church), mom is on her 3rd chemo treatment, and that has even gone pretty well. It’s just when you add all these things together with life as a Pastor’s Wife, mom, ministry leader, small group leader, couple’s small group leader, VBS Director, daughter, sister, mentor, writer, blogger, twitterer…well some of the plates have to be set down for a little bit.

I’m trying to get on a better schedule so we can talk, catch up, and I can share with you some of the incredible things that the LORD is teaching me, but for now just know that you are on my mind, in my prayers, and very much appreciated. God is good, He’s still the King, we are still His, and we are safe in His arms.

Thanks for being a part of Mel’s World with me…
