I just love this picture and have been waiting for the right time to share it with you, please make sure you click on the picture so you can see all the details of this incredible picture!
Just a little over a month ago my husband and my oldest son went on a missions trip with our church and an fantastic organization called GCA (Great Commission Alliance).
Early one morning while in Mirebalais, Haiti one of our friends, Matt Lewis, and a few other guys (my son included) were blessed to be able to witness this picture in action. It is very early on the mountain in Haiti and these two women are headed up to the top of the mountain, with their Bibles on their heads, to praise and worship Jesus.
The guys were up on top of the mountain a little bit away from these ladies enjoying their “quiet time” but when these ladies came up to the clearing they starting singing, shouting and praising God with their arms wide open in full abandon.
The team was blessed to see, hear and feel the heartfelt prayers of these passionate ladies and thankfully they were able to get a few pictures of these beautiful women of God as well. Their passionate prayers for Haiti and for their families are proof that God is doing a work in Haiti.
I’ll be sharing some more pics later…but today, for Word Filled Wednesday, this one says it all!
