Pick up the gloves

Is there a dream, a family, a child, a job, a ministry, a life that you’ve always wanted?

Is there something/someone trying to stop you? Fight them…

Are there oppressors hold you back…keep fighting!

Push through, there’s nothing to stop you…

You are a child of God

Fight for what’s important to you!

What are the most important things in your life?

What would you do to protect them…you would fight, wouldn’t you?

So why aren’t you fighting now…

So many people tell you that fighting is not a good thing…

That you shouldn’t do it

But why not?

Why, when you’ve worked hard, done what is right, sought God’s direction, should you not fight?

Fighting is not always a bad thing…as a matter of fact we should fight for what God has blessed us with in our lives. ..(not in a way that is harmful and destructive, but in a way that says I am seriously not going to give up!)

I love this verse in Nehemiah…check it out, Nehemiah 4:13b“Don’t be afraid of them. Put your minds on the Master, great and awesome, and then fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.”

But what you have to look at here is that fighting to fight is not what I am talking about…I am talking about fighting for those things that are IMPORTANT to you…

Look at what I found in Jude…Jude 1:3a[ Fight with All You Have in You ] Dear friends, I’ve dropped everything to write you about this life of salvation that we have in common. I have to write insisting—begging!—that you fight with everything you have in you for this faith entrusted to us as a gift to guard and cherish.

As women we can choose to sit back and watch

and wait

or we

can choose to pick up the gloves and FIGHT for what’s important to us…

The choice is yours…will you pick up the gloves?
