Memory Verse Monday

“You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.

“You’re blessed when you feel you’ve lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you.

“You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought.”

I just picked up a New Testament Message Bible and have really enjoyed reading some of my favorites written in this version of the Bible. It is almost like God is opening up His Word to me in new and refreshing ways. I keep this version by my bedside and pick it up whenever I need a little “faith lift”.

This week I am going to focus on the blessings that God has in store for me…not the other junk.

Be Blessed,

  5. I agree…the Message has been a blessing to me…the Word has come alive and taken on new power and new meaning for me.

I love the fact the even when I am at the end of my rope that just means I am closer to Him.
