Cooking Experiment #1
When dear hubby is working late and walks in the door dead tired and starving and you have to throw something together “really quick” it is a great time for a corn dog (well, at least for MY husband it is, thankfully).
Unfortunately when dear hubby wants to talk and you forget that you left the corndogs in the oven on BROIL (yep, I said broil) this is what happens…
Apparently the sticks caught on fire in the oven (notice the stains on my pan)…
…and if you click on the picture you will see that the stick (nub) is still glowing red from being on fire…Needless to say, we went to plan B, a sandwich! Poor hubby…he was really looking forward to those yucky corn dogs.
Sometimes you just have to laugh,
That is sad. Those little red hot nubs are making me laugh though!
Oh so those were corn dogs! Too bad!

Now that is funny.
What I want to know is…Who’s the fast thinker and got the camera. They are so hot I can smell them over here. ROTFL
When I first saw the photos, I thought “What are those?!”. LOL
I bet your house smelled real good.

At first glance I thought they were some kind of metal or something.
I am notorious for burning things under the broiler, I think I can get something else done during the wait.
Oh my – maybe you should microwave them next time. After all, they’re going to be ‘yucky’ anyway. 🙂
Oh dear! When I first saw the pictures I thought they were fishing lures! I guess they really weren’t edible! Glad you came up with a quick plan B for your hubby’s hungry tummy!
